As a national conversation on sexual misconduct is gripping the country from Hollywood to Capitol Hill, renewed attention has been focused on the sexual misconduct allegations against President Trump. Over the years, more than 20 women have come forward accusing Trump of everything from a severe abuse of power to downright creepiness and unethical behavior. Here is a list of the 20 most surreal and vile accusations to date.
20. The 18-Year Old
Tasha Dixon was only 18 years old when she had an unsavory run-in with Donald Trump. As the Former Miss Arizona was getting ready in dress rehearsal for a pageant, Dixon says that Trump “strolled right in” while the contestants were “half-naked and in a very physically vulnerable position.” Worse yet, according to Dixon, the women were specifically told to “fawn all over him.”
She decided to go public with the story after hearing an old audio recording of Trump bragging to Howard Stern about going backstage at pageants while the contestants were naked or getting dressed.
In the audio recording, Trump can be heard saying;
“You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody okay?’” he continued. “And you see these incredible looking women, and so, I sort of get away with things like that.”
19. Bridget Sullivan Corroborates
If for whatever reason people choose not to believe Tasha Dixon (as mentioned above), they need look no further than Bridget Sullivan to see a disturbing pattern. Sullivan was crowned Miss New Hampshire in 2000 but publicly came out against Trump during the presidential campaign.
“The time that he walked through the dressing rooms was really shocking. We were all naked,” she told Buzzfeed in May 2016.
In the same audio recording to Howard Stern, Trump detailed his disgusting behavior further, saying;
“Before a show, I’ll go backstage and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it,” he said. “You know, I’m inspecting because I want to make sure that everything is good.”
18. The Yoga Instructor
Karena Virginia was a New York-area yoga instructor at the time of alleged incident. According to her, in 1998 outside of the U.S. Open tennis tournament she was waiting for her car to arrive when Trump approached her.
“He then walked up to me and reached his right arm and grabbed my right arm,” she said at a news conference in October 2016. “Then his hand touched the right inside of my breast.”
Virginia, who was 27 when the incident allegedly took place said she immediately flinched. This prompted Trump to respond with, “Don’t you know who I am?”
Since coming out against Trump, Karena Virginia has reiterated her claims through her lawyer, Gloria Allred. Coincidentally, Trump has a never released a statement or response to the allegation.
17. He Kissed Me “Directly On The Lips”
Temple Taggart was only 21-years-old when she participated in the Miss USA contest in 1997. The former Miss Utah said that Trump, who owned the pageant the time, approached her and kissed her “directly on the lips.”
The allegation first came when she shared her story with The New York Times in May of 2016.
“He kissed me directly on the lips. I thought, “Oh my God, gross.” He was married to Marla Maples at the time. I think there were a few other girls that he kissed on the mouth. I was like “Wow, that’s inappropriate.”
Taggart also talked about how Trump thought that her being 21-years-old was simply too old.
“We’re going to have to tell them you’re 17,’ ” Ms. Taggart recalled Trump telling her, “because in his mind, 21 is too old. I was like, ‘No, we’re not going to do that.”
16. The Mar-a-Lago Photographer’s Assistant
In 2003, Mindy McGillivray was working an event as a photographer’s assistant at Trump’s famous Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida when the unthinkable allegedly happened. The story finally came out in October 2016.
Speaking to The Palm Beach Post, McGillivray said that Trump “grabbed her ass” as she was working the event. The photographer who she was working with, Ken Davidoff, told the paper that he vividly remembers Mindy pulling him aside immediately after the incident to tell him what just happened.
Of course, the Trump campaign denies the story with then-Trump campaign spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, saying that McGillivray’s allegation “lacks any merit or veracity.”
15. The Trump Tower Secretary
Rachel Crooks, who worked as a secretary in Trump’s New York building said that when she first met Trump in 2005, he kissed her on the cheeks and then directly on the lips while outside an elevator at Trump Tower. She was so shaken up by the incident that she immediately told her sister about the alleged unsavory encounter with Trump.
“It was so inappropriate,” Ms. Crooks recalled in an interview. “I was so upset that he thought I was so insignificant that he could do that.”
While Trump strongly denied these claims, let us not forget the words from his 2006 Access Hollywood tape that was leaked right before the election.
“I just start kissing them,” Mr. Trump said on the tape. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
14. The Disturbing Pattern Continues
Cathy Heller first made her accusations public when she spoke to The Guardian newspaper. The alleged incident took place during a Mother’s Day brunch at Mar-a-Lago.
Heller described the alleged incident in detail to The Guardian;
“He took my hand, and grabbed me, and went for the lips,” she claimed.
Alarmed, she said she leaned backwards to avoid him and almost lost her balance. “And he said, ‘Oh, come on.’ He was strong. And he grabbed me and went for my mouth and went for my lips.” She turned her head, she claims, and Trump planted a kiss on the side of her mouth. “He kept me there for a little too long,” Heller said. “And then he just walked away.”
“I was angry and shaken,” she continued. “He was pissed. He couldn’t believe a woman would pass up the opportunity.” She added that he seemed to feel “entitled” to kiss her.
13. The Melania Trump Marriage Anniversary Incident
As a writer for People Magazine, Natasha Stoynoff said that she was at Mar-a-Lago to interview Trump and Melania for their first wedding anniversary. She alleges that when they took a break for the then-very-pregnant Melania to go upstairs and change her clothes, Trump wanted to show her around the mansion. There was one “tremendous” room in particular, he just had to show her, he said.
Stoynoff recounts the details of what allegedly happened next in her article for People Magazine.
“We walked into that room alone, and Trump shut the door behind us. I turned around, and within seconds he was pushing me against the wall and forcing his tongue down my throat.
Now, I’m a tall, strapping girl who grew up wrestling two giant brothers. I even once sparred with Mike Tyson. It takes a lot to push me. But Trump is much bigger — a looming figure — and he was fast, taking me by surprise and throwing me off balance. I was stunned. And I was grateful when Trump’s longtime butler burst into the room a minute later, as I tried to unpin myself.”
12. The Retracted Lawsuit
Jill Harth alleges that back in 1992 Trump tried to put his hands between her legs and a month later (during a tour of his Mar-a-Lago Florida estate) he tried to kiss her when she and her then-boyfriend, George Houraney, were there to celebrate solidifying a business contract.
Harth filed a lawsuit in 1997 alleging that Trump sexually harassed her. However, according to her, she later ended up withdrawing the suit as a condition of settling a separate financial dispute with him.
11. He Slid His Hand Up Her Thigh And “Grabbed Her Pu**y”
In one of the more disturbing allegations that have come out against Trump so far, Kristin Anderson says that while she was at a popular Manhattan nightspot in the 1990s, Donald Trump slid his fingers under her miniskirt, moved up her inner thigh and touched her vagina through her underwear.
“He was so distinctive looking,” she said. “With the hair and the eyebrows. I mean, nobody else has those eyebrows.”
After the story’s publication, ABC News spoke to a friend of Kristin Anderson, Brad Trent, who said he heard the account from Anderson the same year the alleged incident happened. Trent told ABC News that Anderson had told him she was sitting next to Trump at the old China Club bar in New York where he slid his hand up her thigh and “grabbed her pu**y.”
10. The Apprentice Contestant
Jennifer Murphy was a contestant on the fourth season of ‘The Apprentice,’ the now-infamous reality show that used to be hosted by Donald Trump. Murphy alleges that Trump kissed her on the lips after a job interview.
“He walked me to the elevator, and I said goodbye. I was thinking, ‘Oh, he’s going to hug me,’ but when he pulled my face in and gave me a smooch. I was like, ‘Oh kay.’ I didn’t know how to act. I was just a little taken aback and probably turned red. And I then I get into the elevator and thought, “Huh, Donald Trump just kissed me on the lips,”‘ she told Grazia, a British magazine.
9. The Other Adult Film Star
Adult film star Jessica Drake alleges that Trump kissed her and two other women without their consent 10 years ago. Drake said she met Trump at a golf tournament when he invited her up to his hotel suite. Drake didn’t “feel right going alone” so she brought two other women with her.
“When we entered the room, he grabbed each of us tightly in a hug and kissed each one of us without asking permission,” Drake said.
She then went on to say that after she and the other women left, she received a call from Trump asking her to come back and have dinner with him.
“Donald then asked me ‘What do you want? How much?'” Drake said.
8. The Fox News Anchor
Juliet Huddy, a former Fox News anchor, revealed in December of 2017 that Trump kissed her on the lips without her consent after a meeting in Trump Tower around 2005.
“He went to say goodbye and he, rather than kiss me on the cheek, he leaned in on the lips,” she said. Huddy added that she was surprised by the kiss, but “didn’t feel threatened” or “offended” at the time.
“Now that I’ve matured, I would’ve said, ‘Nope.’ At that time, I was making excuses,” she said in December.
7. “He Was Like An Octopus, His Hands Were Everywhere”
In 2017, Jessica Leeds came forward and accused Trump of groping her on an airplane in the late-1970s.
Sitting on the airplane next to Trump, Leeds alleges that about 45 minutes after takeoff, Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.
“He was like an octopus,” she said. “His hands were everywhere.”
She fled to the back of the plane. “It was an assault,” she said.
6. Miss Finland
Ninni Laaksonen competed as Miss Finland in the Miss Universe pageant in 2006. Shortly after, she told Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat that Trump squeezed her rear end after posing for a photo before an appearance on “The David Letterman Show.”
“Trump stood right next to me and suddenly he squeezed my butt. He really grabbed my butt. I don’t think anybody saw it, but I flinched and thought, ‘What is happening?” she told the Finnish newspaper.
ABC News tried contacting Laaksonen for comment. She replied, “I have never commented on this, and I won’t. I wish that you respect my will to live a normal life without interference.”
5. The Inauguration Lawsuit
During the fifth season of ‘The Apprentice’, Summer Zervos, who was a competitor on the show, came forward to allege that Trump abused his role by kissing her twice during a meeting at Trump Tower and later groping and kissing her in a California hotel room.
“He grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again aggressively and placed his hand on my breast,” Zervos said. Zervos has since filed a lawsuit against Trump for alleged defamation after he called her and the other women accusing him liars. The lawsuit came three days before Trump’s inauguration.
In the lawsuit, Zervos’ attorney wrote that while Trump said Zervos was lying, “it was Donald Trump who was lying when he falsely denied his predatory misconduct with Summer Zervos, and derided her for perpetrating a ‘hoax’ and making up a ‘phony’ story to get attention.”
4. “I Ran The Hell Out Of There”
In one of the more surreal accusations against Trump, this one comes by way of CNN’s own Erin Burnett. She alleges that her friend was in a Trump Tower bathroom with Trump. Trump approached her and suggested she take some Tic Tacs. It was then, according to Erin Burnett’s account, that Trump leaned in to kiss her on the lips, which caught her off guard.
“I was really freaked out,” the woman later told Burnett. After that, Trump invited her into his office alone. He told the woman she was “special” and proceeded to give her his cell phone number.
“I ran the hell out of there,” the friend told Burnett.
3. Trump’s First Wife, Ivana, Alleges Rape
In a 1990 divorce deposition, Trump’s first wife and the mother of his three eldest children, Ivana Trump, accused her then-husband of raping her in a fit of rage in 1989.
Ivana said Trump tore her clothes and yanked out a chunk of her hair after undergoing a painful ‘scalp reduction’ procedure done by a doctor she had recommended.
In a 1993 book about Trump, the author Harry Hurt III recounted the alleged assault.
“Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than 16 months. Ivana is terrified … It is a violent assault.”
“According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.'”
2. “The Dirtiest I Felt In My Entire Life”
Samantha Holvey, who was a contestant in the 2006 Miss USA pageant, spoke of a horrifying experience to CNN in 2016. In the interview, Holvey said that Trump personally inspected each of the pageant contestants individually.
“He would step in front of each girl and look you over from head to toe like we were just meat, we were just sexual objects, that we were not people,” Holvey said, adding that it made her feel “the dirtiest I felt in my entire life.”
The then 20-year-old student said that she “had no desire to win when I understood what it was all about.”
1. “He Treated Us Like Cattle”
Former Miss Washington, Cassandra Searles, shared a post on Facebook in 2016. Unfortunately, the post is no longer available publicly but screen captures of the photo post do exist (as seen above).
The photo shows the group of Miss Universe contestants from 2013 with Trump in the center. Above the photo, Searles had less than flattering things to say about Trump. “This one guy treated us like cattle,” she wrote. “I forgot to mention that guy will be running to become the next President of the United States.”
Interestingly, the Rolling Stone reported that Searle updated the original post, adding a comment to the thread.
“He probably doesn’t want me telling the story about that time he continually grabbed my ass and invited me to his hotel room,” she wrote.
